How to Apply
Welcome to Wymondham College, we are delighted that you’re interested in our school.
Each year, we welcome Day and Boarding pupils from ages 4 – 18, with over 550 boarders age 9-18 from across the country and the world.
Day Applications
As we are a state school, day applications from ages 4-16 are managed through Norfolk County Council. Please see our Admissions Policy for more info:
Boarding Applications
At the college, we manage all boarding applications and our simple application process is detailed below. In the case of Sixth Form, we manage both Day and Boarding applications through the College.
How to apply
Whilst most applications are made by 31st October the year before entry, we can accept applications throughout the academic year.
Step 1 - Register your interest
If you think Wymondham College could be a good fit for your family, please complete our enquiries form and a member of our Admissions team will be in touch.
Step 2 – Visit Us
To get a true feeling of the college, we recommend attending one of our Open events. We have Open Mornings, Boarder Taster Evenings and Online events.
Step 3 – Application
When you’re ready, you can apply. Once submitted, we’ll begin the process by obtaining a reference from your child’s current / previous school.
Step 4 – Interview
We’ll invite your child for a boarding suitability interview, which can be conducted virtually or in person. This is not an academic assessment.
Step 5 – Offer
Providing the interview is successful, we will offer your child a place. Your place will be secured upon receipt of the signed Enrolment Form and payment of a deposit.
