Appeal for a Secondary School Place

You have the right to appeal the decision if your child has not been offered a 2026 Year 7 Day Place at the College. You can appeal for a Day Place at the College if:

• You applied for transfer to secondary school for September 2026 and
• We were one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (2 March 2026)

How to appeal:

Please download the Admissions Appeal Form or alternatively, email principalpa@wymcol.org  stating your wish to appeal and we will send you an Appeal Form.

You need to complete and return the Appeal Form and any supporting documentation to principalpa@wymcol.org by Friday 27 March 2026.

When the appeal will take place

Appeal hearings will be organised by the Local Authority, on behalf of the Sapientia Trust, in June 2026 (within 40 school days of the closing date for appeals).
