Kett Hall
I am delighted to join the Wymondham College community as the new Head of Kett Hall. After 17 rewarding years in education, I have eagerly anticipated this opportunity. I am excited to immerse myself in the rich traditions of Kett Hall and to foster a vibrant, supportive community for our students.
In the first seven years of my career, I served as a Head of House and PE teacher in Norfolk schools, where I focused on cultivating a positive house culture, organising engaging events and competitions, and overseeing the pastoral wellbeing and academic progress of students.
For the past decade, I have transitioned to British curriculum international schools in Asia—specifically in Shanghai, Bangkok, and Hong Kong—taking on various middle and senior leadership roles. This experience has broadened my perspective and equipped me to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every student in Kett Hall feels valued, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
Beyond managing the day-to-day operations of the house, I am eager to embrace all aspects of house life at Wymondham College. I aim to create opportunities for students to come together, challenge themselves, and forge lifelong connections. Fostering a strong sense of house pride and belonging will be a top priority. I envision Kett Hall as a place where every student feels valued, empowered, and proud to be part of our community.
In short, I am delighted to get started at Kett Hall. I look forward to immersing myself in the strong traditions of Wymondham College and, most importantly, getting to know the incredible students who make up this community.
